I trained at the prestigious Clifton Practice which is recognised as being a centre of excellence for hypnotherapy.
My clients have said that I support with empathy and warmth, while at the same time challenging unhelpful patterns and encouraging accountability. I think/hope that sums me up pretty well : )
You might be surprised to hear there’s often laughter at my sessions too, therapy can actually be enjoyable!
Clients often come to hypnotherapy having exhausted all other avenues and it’s a real privilege to help people who may have given up hope.
I love what I do, and get huge satisfaction from seeing clients make life changing progress with Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

Entirely neuroscience based, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines the deep relaxation of hypnosis with talking therapy and coaching to shift your mindset, and build lasting change.
You’ll learn all about your brain, and what’s happening when things feel wrong.
You’ll also learn how to rewire those unhelpful thought patterns, reduce anxiety, and help you feel more in control.
It’s practical, positive, and designed to get your brain working for you.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help with so much more than you might expect.
It’s a fantastic therapy for anxiety, stress, and low mood, as well as tackling things like poor sleep, chronic pain, IBS, low confidence, and phobias.

Yes—online hypnotherapy works just as well as in-person sessions!
In fact, many people find it even more relaxing being in the comfort of their own home.
Plus, it gives you the freedom to work with the right therapist for you, no matter where you’re based.
-
Everyone’s different, so the number of sessions depends on what you want to change and how committed you are to doing the work.
On average, most people need around 8-12 sessions to see lasting, positive change but it could be more or less.
Phobias are often resolved in just 4 sessions, and the stop smoking session is a one-off, two-hour appointment.
We start with weekly sessions and can then space sessions out as you build in confidence, and see change happening.
-
Each session lasts 60 minutes, with the exception of the Stop Smoking session which is a one-off 2 hour session.

Initial consultation
Once we’ve chatted quickly and think we’d work well together, your first step is the initial consultation which lasts about 60 minutes.
Here, I’ll take time to get to know you and understand what you’d like to change.
I’ll also explain in detail how the brain creates issues like anxiety, low mood, OCD, phobias, and more—and what we can do to change that.
Understanding how the brain works is often a real ‘lightbulb moment’—clients find it incredibly reassuring and empowering.
You’ll also get a hypnosis relaxation audio to listen to at home, which supports the work we do together.
General therapy sessions
Follow up sessions from the initial consultation last 60 minutes and include a quick recap of how the brain works—helping you stay focused on how to keep it working in your favour. Each session ends with a relaxing guided trance to reinforce your progress and support the brain’s natural ability to rewire and build new, positive pathways.

A hypnosis trance is really just a relaxed state of focused concentration. It’s a completely natural state and we all actually go into trance many times a day.
Have you ever had the experience of driving a familiar route and you realise you can’t remember the last bit of road? Or you’ve been so absorbed in a book or hobby that you don’t notice someone walking into the room? Welcome to the natural state of being in trance!
You will remain completely in control, in the same way as you would if someone cut in front of you on the road, or shouted your name as you were reading your book .
When you’re in a trance state, your mind becomes more open to suggestions.
Hypnotherapy takes advantage of this state, enabling your mind to concentrate deeply and be more receptive to positive suggestions and change.
There is no swinging watch or stage malarkey here!

Nope! It’s completely safe and you’ll be in complete control the whole time.
Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind that we all go into many times a day. It feels a bit like daydreaming — you’re really relaxed, but still totally aware of what’s going on, and you could get up and walk away at any time if you felt like it. There is no swinging pocket watch here!
